Art, Music, and Movement
|
Colorado College Children's Center
At Colorado College Children's Center we work through the Toddler Time with humor, caring, and gentle guidance. We balance our day with inside and outside activities; open ended art projects, music and movement, singing, and reading, reading, reading, always keeping in mind our goal of facilitating emergent learning. With the help of a multi-passenger stroller we take full advantage of our beautiful Colorado College Campus. Going out for walks is a favorite activity for both the teachers and children.
Baby Boot Camp
Baby Boot Camp® offers indoor and outdoor strength training classes in many locations around the country. Designed for mom and baby, our classes focus on building strength, improving posture and increasing core strength and flexibility. Pregnant moms, dads and nannies are welcome too!
The Complete Child
When our children start walking, they are ready to move on to the Toddler Program where the environment, equipment and activities are designed to promote safety while learning. Because Toddlers learn through play and a "hands on approach", our toddlers spend their days at Young Scholars learning, creating, exploring and having fun while listening to music and stories. Daily reports go home for parents to share their child's experiences.

Restaurants
|
Luigi's
Local diners have labeled this friendly, family cafe, which has been serving Colorado Springs since 1958, as one of the "best Italian restaurants in the area." The cozy dining room is perfect for romantic couples, but also appeals to families with kids. Traditional Italian classics, such as linguine and lasagna, and signature dishes are all impressive, but the dessert pizzas are the real "must-have" for most diners. Reservations are required for large parties, and smoking is not allowed.
The Olive Branch Colorado Springs
Fine dining for the entire family, The Olive Branch has been voted best breakfast, lunch and "among the best dinner spots" in GT surveys.
Poor Richard's Restaurant
Poor Richard's Restaurant has excellent pizza. It is attached to a book store (not ironically, Poor Richard's also), so you can buy a book and read and eat pizza, good pizza.
